Le projet OXY est une transformation majeure du centre-ville de Bruxelles, portant sur la rénovation complète de la tour Anspach, un bâtiment emblématique situé à proximité des grands axes urbains. Cette intervention s’inscrit dans une volonté de revitaliser le tissu architectural et fonctionnel du quartier, en réinventant un immeuble existant afin de lui offrir une nouvelle vie, plus contemporaine, durable et ouverte sur la ville. Le projet propose une reconversion mixte, intégrant des espaces de bureaux modernes, des zones d’activités ainsi que des espaces publics repensés pour renforcer les liens entre le bâtiment et son environnement urbain. Il est mené par les bureaux d’architecture Snøhetta et BINST Architecture, accompagnés des agences belges ADE et DDS+, pour le compte des développeurs immobiliers WhiteWood et Immobel.
La nouvelle façade, développée en collaboration avec la firme Kyotec, incarne pleinement cette ambition de modernité et d’efficacité. Conçue comme une enveloppe performante et expressive, elle marie innovation technique et finesse esthétique, offrant au bâtiment une identité renouvelée tout en améliorant significativement ses performances énergétiques. Cette façade modulable, associant matériaux performants et solutions constructives avancées, contribue à l’économie d’énergie du bâtiment tout en proposant une lecture dynamique de l’édifice dans le paysage bruxellois. Grâce à ce travail d’envergure, OXY devient un exemple de rénovation urbaine ambitieuse, conjuguant patrimoine bâti, design architectural et performance environnementale.

The OXY project represents a major transformation of Brussels’ city center, involving the complete renovation of the Anspach Tower, an emblematic building located near the city’s main urban axes.
