AG Real Estate wanted to modernise the ground floor of their office building in the rue du Pont Neuf to accommodate an e-learning centre and a meeting centre. The project proposed by evr-architecten met their concern for sustainability, which goes far beyond a question of saving energy. evr-architecten imagined a project that brings light into the depths of the building, set up a rainwater recovery system, recycled materials from their building and also from outside, paid particular attention to the origin of the raw materials and, above all, introduced biodiversity into the heart of this dense block in the centre of Brussels. All of these reasons made it possible for the AG Campus to be a be.exemplary winner in 2019.
